Why Get Involved?

The Importance of Service in AA

Engaging in service is a vital part of recovery, as emphasized in AA’s Twelfth Step: ‘carry the message to the alcoholic who still suffers.’ By participating in service activities like chairing meetings or organizing events, we maintain our sobriety, build connections, and find purpose.
